The Road Ahead

There is no such thing as an easy path, or an easy road. Bumps always appear, no matter how well we plan. My road is no different. As this writing "thing" continues o grow, everything else is taking a back seat. I'm pushing me to new places an new faces, with others being left behind. Hard choices lie before me, but I'll do what's best for me going forward.

With two books of mine coming out in the next couple of weeks, I'm looking around at who supports me and a lot of familiar faces seem to be absent. I wonder at the fact, but it doesn't stop me from continuing on my journey. Life goes on, and people change. It's that simple. I'm walking in my purpose, growing each day, and I can't lament the absence of those who aren't with me for this ride.

The Road Ahead is shimmering with promise, glowing with the light of my dreams being fulfilled. I hope for success and fulfillment, but I know sacrifices will be necessary. Is the journey worth it? Always...
